We are looking for a highly motivated and efficient finance and admin officer to join the Wheelie Waste head office team in Warrnambool. If you have strong communication skills with the ability to perform independently in a fast paced environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Entering creditor invoices
  • Reconciling creditor statements
  • Performing general ledger reconciliations
  • Managing customer service, assisting with data entry and cross referencing job logs against incoming dockets and invoices
  • Generating and distributing daily runsheets to all depots & drivers
  • Providing day to day assistance to depots and drivers including technology support
  • Providing HR & payroll support
  • Providing support to the finance manager with end of month processing & compliance

Skills & Experience Required

You have will have proven experience in an accounting, finance, accounts payable and/or bookkeeping field as well significant administration experience. We also expect that you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • High level computer & IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well established organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to confidently and courteously work with people at all levels
  • Capacity to work proactively, independently and with minimal direction, but also work collaboratively in a team environment.
